First bioanalytical Chemistry Workshop

Master Clinical biology, course Advanced Analytical methods in biochemistry

This workshop held on July 15, 2025, Faculty of Public Health, Tripoli, Lebanon was aimed at early career scientists, mainly Master’s students in Master Clinical Biology, (Course Advanced analytical methods in biochemistry) to improve their bioanalytical skills. This event addressed the issues related to the analysis of large and small molecules and also addressed the challenges related to analysis by electrophoresis, NMR, fluorescence spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, ICP-MS, chromatography, and LC-MS, GC-MS, and mass spectrometry, including advanced techniques for biological sample preparation (LLE, SPE, SPME, derivatization, etc.) to explore several themes: Metallomics, proteomic analysis, metabolomics, and sample preparation.

Posters on display:

Poster 1: Advanced analytical tools in proteomics: applications in biological systems

Poster 2: Metallomics: investigating the role and speciation of trace metals in biological systems

Poster 3: Advanced Sample Preparation Techniques in Bioanalysis

Poster 4: Metabolomics: advanced techniques and Potential Applications
